Join us for a private, virtual event on Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 7-8:00 p.m.
During our first year as a nonprofit, your support has provided hope and a sense of community to Northeast Ohio families with roots in The Democratic Republic of Congo, Haiti, Mexico, Bulgaria, Guatemala, and Burkina Faso.
This private, virtual event is a celebration of the first anniversary of Americans Making Immigrants Safe (AMIS, Inc.) and a celebration of the vibrant traditions and cultures of our extended family. The event’s agenda will include featured music and recipes shared with us by the immigrants who AMIS has supported in our first year as a nonprofit. You will learn of the amazing progress AMIS has made in its inaugural year and be given an opportunity to ensure their support for immigrants in need continues well into the future. Ticket purchase includes a personalized recipe booklet (sent via U.S.P.S., prior to the event) featuring a variety of authentic international recipes for drinks and food that we hope you will make at home and enjoy during our time together.
Your donation to this event will contribute to the well-being of immigrants and their families as they seek legal status in the U.S. Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
