Join us for a private, virtual event on Sunday, September 26, 2021, 7 – 8:30 p.m.
Americans Making Immigrants Safe has provided hope and a sense of community to Northeast Ohio families with roots in Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, El Salvador, Haiti, Honduras, Jordan, and Mexico.
Join us to celebrate the second anniversary of AMIS and the vibrant cultures of our extended family. In addition to the ticket purchase donation, we’ll also have our exciting “fund-a-need” donation opportunity to support the immigrants that we serve.
Immigrant needs are as critical as ever. Thankfully, your donation will have twice the impact this year!
An anonymous donor will match dollar for dollar the first $10,000 we raise during this event.
Your ticket purchase includes an event program complete with updated recipes from the home countries of our immigrant friends and lists of Cleveland-area restaurants and grocery stores that sell food from these countries. You are invited to make some of these dishes at home and enjoy during our time together.
Suggested ticket donation $50/person. Checks can also be mailed to: AMIS, P.O. Box 18558, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118.
Please mark “Event ticket” on the memo line. Your donation in support of this event will contribute to the well-being of immigrants and their families as they seek legal status and a better life in the U.S. and it is tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
